"How is the result of a catch assist determined and how often does it happen?"
#PokemonGO: I have no video proof but I'm pretty sure that it happens that I get different results when I get a catch assist after having locked the catch ring at 'excellent' size on a pokemon. Sometimes I get 'excellent' even though I missed the ring (as expected) but in some cases it's just like a normal hit, i.e. not an 'excellent' hit. Is it known what the criterion for this is and do we know the probability of getting a catch assist at all? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/338tyDr
