"Updated lucky friend data after over 41,000 best friend advances"

#PokemonGO: I've been keeping track of my lucky friend data and previously posted below:https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/cl8dwf/lucky_friend_rate_102_lucky_friends_in_115_days/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/e7236k/latest_lucky_friend_data_after_over_18000_best/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3I saw a recent post that raised the question of lucky friend percentages possibly getting lowered recently so perhaps now is a good time to share my latest.https://ift.tt/3kwv9bY upper graph has the # of friend advances (in blue) and # of best friend advances (in red). The lower graph shows my lucky friend rate (daily, 7 day average and cumulative). The blue line is my daily lucky friend rate. The black line is the 7 day average rate and the purple line is the cumulative average rate.I think the combination of all 3 of these give a pretty good idea of the lucky friend rates over time. You can see some big variability in the daily rate (between 0 and 6%) but the 7 day average does a better job of smoothing things out. The first few weeks of lucky friends seemed to have a higher than 1% rate and the boosted lucky friend rate from early February shows another raised area in the graph. The cumulative rate has been pretty steady. After the initial higher rate, from June 2019 until now the cumulative average has been pretty steady and only ranged between 1.04% and 1.18%.Below are the IV results of the lucky friend trades. As expected, they've averaged right around 90% (range is between 80 to 100% with the IV floor of 12 out of 15). The distribution is pretty much the expected bell curve except I think I should probably had a couple less 80% and a couple more 100% pokemon. lolhttps://preview.redd.it/z4zpb7x5omo51.png?width=865&format=png&auto=webp&s=514f6172c2537061769fe4ada91ec9718a075336https://preview.redd.it/7bbjrv49omo51.png?width=643&format=png&auto=webp&s=13844b1add7ed4afc4147f98f71ffd91cc92c494Below are a few numbers to summarize things:cumulative lucky friend rate - ................... 457/41605 = ~1.10%average lucky trade IVs - ............................ 90.3% : 13.48/13.57/13.58Since Niantic doesn't give much info about the numbers behind things, hopefully this info can help. Maybe this can be interesting to discuss? Hopefully everyone doesn't get discouraged by the low rate but focusing on a long range goal of getting more best friends that will interact and trade with you can be rewarding. I can try to answer any questions if it helps.TLDR: Still about 1% lucky friend rate. IVs still average right at 90% as expected. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2ZWmhET
