"Crown Tundra > Isle of Armor"

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed IoA. But CT has just pushed that area aside as my favorite out of the three regions in SW/SH.I will say the stories are about the same for me, except Calyrex, while reminding me of a weirdly demented sock monkey (seriously what's with the legs??) won me over fairly quickly. The story definitely got my attention, I don't recall currently (2 hours of sleep, thanks to CT) a game having a similar story where you assist the main legendary as you do in this one. For me, it did feel unique enough that despite wanting to rush through it in the beginning because I was just too eager to explore, I slowly found myself sucked into it by the end, which is saying something considering his portion of it was on the shorter side.Visually though, this is where CT just blows IoA out of the water for me. While IoA was vast, and open, it also felt just too flat to me. There really didn't feel like there was enough terrain changes in each section. Each section just felt like its own but cookie cutter, if that makes sense. CT, at least for me, felt more like what I expect of a "open world" style map system, and there's really no flat prairie feeling for me. You're constantly going uphill, downhill, up winding trails, etc. And while I do find myself getting lost in occasion because of all the nooks and crannies, (where's our minimap?) I still can't help but love just looking at everything, everywhere.Granted I do have my gripes, same as everyone else (for example, the dex and areas felt too padded with pokemon from the mainland) but I definitely see myself hanging out in CT for as long as I can. Also, I find myself enjoying the max lairs way more than the raid dens. Not just because legendaries, but it adds a new challenge. What about the rest of you? How do you feel the two DLC compare to each other? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3mmHikV
