"Meta Implications: Aeroblast Lugia [GamePress]"

#PokemonGO: [full article link]Aeroblast Lugia's coming out in a few days, and there's been a lot of talk about it. Is it good? Bad? Gamebreaking? Kinda somewhere in between.PvE: Lugia's stronger than it was before, but sadly, 193 attack isn't enough to make it worth using in raids. It's just so outclassed by other Flying- or Psychic- attackers.Great League: Better! But Great League is already innundated with powerful Flying-types, and Skarmory arguably just does Lugia's Sky Attack + Flying Nuke role better while also walling out Lugia itself.Ultra League: While it can't beat Shadow Claw Gira-A, it can handle the Dragon Breath variant, and Aeroblast gives it a chance against a number of super meta threats. Top meta? Maybe not, but 100% more usable than before!Master League: This is probably the big one people have been talking about. Lugia's got the highest stat product in the game up here, and Aeroblast is certainly fantastic, letting it fight back against a number of common Pokémon. However, it arguably doesn't solve its biggest problem: the prevalence of Pokémon like Dialga, Melmetal, and Metagross that just wall it out. It's stronger, definitely! It just also struggles to handle a lot of the meta.Thoughts? Expectations? Am I completely wrong about something? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2TKTgII
