"Who is your "hidden workhorse" pokemon?"

So I've been playing through the older games lately and got to White 2. I didn't have a flyer yet after the 1st 2 gyms and decided to pick up a Zubat for the role. It was then that I realized that I've probably had a Crobat on 60% of playthroughs at least. Great speed, Zubat is usually easy to find real early, covers more typing than the usual flying/normal, better than (imo) almost all the regional birds.
