"How would you localize "Pikachu"?"

After checking Bulbapedia, I found out almost every language just transcribes the Pokémon's name. I think it would be really interesting to find out how you would localize the mascot's name to your native language (like how other Pokémon names are puns or are made up of two words mashed together, etc.) and what the new name would mean? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3ezgawN
