I would like to start by saying that I have nothing against the remakes and FR/LG and HG/SS are some of my favourites in the series, but I think the B2W2 route of sequels would have been much better. Picking back up in the older regions set several years later and seeing what has changed and expanded like B2W2 did with Unova would be so much more interesting. Having a new protagonist in an expanded Kanto or Johto with new towns and cities would be so cool, seeing if a new organization rose in the fall of Team Rocket or similar things for Hoenn, Sinnoh and the other regions. I enjoyed the remakes well enough, but I would rather walk familiar ground with something new than walk that same ground with a fresh paint.Quick Edit: The new stories don't have to involve an evil organization, could always have one that focused on say, the mythical Pokemon, like Mew, Celebi etc,Edit2: I should clarify that my line of thinking for a sequel would be the Fable 2 style where its loosely connected to the original but stands on its own as opposed to having to rely on having played the first like BW/B2W2.
