"Niantic needs to change the remote raid invitation process."

#PokemonGO: Remote raids have been a godsend during the pandemic, allowing us to battle with friends while remaining socially distant, and allowing to join raids from anywhere in the world. As great as that feature is, the process of inviting a friend to a raid is flawed and offputting. The number of times I've received a raid invitation, opened the app, and missed out on the raid entirely because of the late notification is too high to count. Today, I tried to join a raid but had to watch two eggs hatch first (another process that needs revision) and missed the raid.I'd like to propose getting rid of the short timer once a person enters the raid lobby. This would allow ample time for invites, setting battle lineups, using any items such as a lucky egg, and ensuring every trainer who wants to participate can still enter a raid. The 45 minute timer still applies, but this would allow an extra buffer so raid passes are actually in use and not wasted or left alone. The game could be massively improved though simplification of the raid process by eliminating the short countdown, speeding up notification sending speed, and prioritizing raid invites over any other in-game content. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/3sumZob
