"With over a week left to go, it's getting harder and harder to tell there is even an event going on."

#PokemonGO: I've worked all week and have been looking forward to getting out and playing today. For the first 3 days, I've seen nothing but dragon and fairy types on the nearby and at spawn points near my house. It was great. Now, only 5 days in with 9 left to go, my nearby is full of fodder and I have a bidoof, minun, phanpy, and Swablu spawned at my house. Why do these types of events see decreases in event mons spawning right when a majority people become available to play? I used an incense this morning and got one bagon, two dratini, a few Jigglypuffs and snubbulls, and a cottonee. Everything else was non-event fodder except for a Nidoking that spawned. If the event lasts for 2 whole weeks, why not have the first week heavy on event mons and then start decreasing them in the second week? I feel like I'm constantly missing the great spawns in the beginning of events due to work, family, and other responsibilities because despite what niantic thinks, the vast majority of people have to squeeze in time for pogo and don't just walk around towns and parks all day every day. If you're gonna have a 2 week event, please make it feel like it actually lasts for 2 weeks. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2SEITJ9
