"I thought Red In HGSS was a fisherman"

I was born in 1998 and my first pokémon game was Diamond . I never played GSC but I did play FireRed so I knew who Red was by the time HGSS came out. I heard people mention him throughout the game but assumed he would be a random trainer at the Battle Frontier or something. Well imagine my surprise when I finally get to the top of Mount Silver and see a fisherman standing there (I assumed fisherman cause of the redhat). Confused I interact with him and see "....." then Boss music and the stone pokéball appear. I throw my DSi across the room thinking it's something youd hear about in a creepypasta where the game glitches and something evil happens (I was a gullible kid). So I turn the DSi over after launching it only to see Red and my jaw dropped. I was like yoooo "I'm gonna beat Red sickk"....then he sends out a level 88 pikachu against my level 62 Typlosion, and well you can guess what happened from there.Not really anything deep here just a funny story I figured I'd share. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3gENLaO
