"What would be the best/worst Pokémon to have on a journey?"

When I hear people talking about what Pokémon they want in real life or if they were in the Pokémon universe they tend to pick strong/cool pokemon and have a large team. But my thoughts are on logistics/economically and in regards to utility. - Like how would food/water work with large Pokémon or large teams? Do Pokémon need to be let out of their pokeballs periodically or suffer health problems like from a lack of sunlight and can it’s needs be met on the road? For example Swirlix it needs to eat its weight of 7 lbs in sugar every day and snorlax would be a nightmare. I think back to the earlier seasons of Pokémon to misty wonder if she was a good trainer to her goldeen? Did it get steady activity/exercise? How did they feed all those Pokémon? How did they carry/pay for all that food? - In regards to utility, most would consider having “hm slaves” a joke when asked what Pokémon they would have but they would actually be amazing especially if it follows the earlier rules of the Pokémon show where it can use it’s full learned movepool like bulbasaur did in the first seasons. Would some Pokémon become ridiculous and amazing to have on a journey because of its move pool that we would never normally pay attention to otherwise? (Furret has an insane movepool that has most of the HMs including SURF) - So then what are some Pokémon that would be great to have on a journey that solves more problems than it creates or Vice versa because it’s strong competitively but it would suck to own and travel with?Edited: grammar via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3gmDKPs
