"Made it to level 40 a few minutes before comm day started.. was kinda bummed about no animation"

#PokemonGO: It was so amazing to travel to San Fran this weekend and hit level 40 right in time to get Eevee XLs for community day. Literally 15 minutes before 11 am hit, thats when the info bubbles popped up about XL candies. I quickly exited out and excitedly started recording my screen. I was really disappointed that the game didn’t show my “level up” animation. I was going to take a pic by the Warf with my “Level 40” level up screenshot.I know it seems like not that big of a deal, but I was highly disappointed. This game wasted so much of my life with the same repetitive animations. I played mostly before remote raids, and have only started playing again recently, so much of my grind to level 40 was watching hours of evolving animations. I’m sure it was just a glitch because everyone in USA west was logging on around that time since the comm day was starting, so I just assume the servers were struggling or something. I guess this is a sign that I shouldn’t be that excited about hitting level 40 since I am so behind lol.. here’s to the grind to 50!!! via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/3spmxsJ
