"What do you do when you catch a legendary/mythical pokemon?"

Just notice that i never actually use any of the legendaries that i catch. What do you guys do with them? Do you even catch them? If you catch them, do you box it straight up? Why? Do you ever consider adding them to your team? Maybe you try to get a competitive viable one, and use it only for online matches. I believe i never use them because of how late in the game we get them, at that point my team is already full, so i never even consider adding them.
