"The Affection System in BDSP ruins any challenge this game presents, even more than EXP share"

I don't know what gave Gamefreak/ILCA the decision to make the Affection system the way it is but it feels even more forced in than how it was in Sword/Shield.If you don't know, If a pokemon reaches max happiness (which it's not hard to do at all) it will do one of the following things:1) Crit an opposing Pokemon2) Dodge a Pokemon's attack (Even if it was a 100 accuracy move)3) Tank a lethal hit with 1 HP (Could even proc when at 1 HP)4) Cure Status ailmentsAll these things end up chaining together to the point where its almost impossible to lose battles unless you heavily handicap yourself. Even the endgame fights, where real competitive strategies are being used gets watered down thanks to the Affection System.https://ift.tt/3cB2h0w genuinely hope that this feature either gets removed or heavily altered in any future games because this is actually ruining the game for me. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/30IfZMb
