I'm willing to die on this hill but Gen 2 had much better pokemon. Everyone always glorifies Gen 1 because it is the first but come on, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Houndoom, Crobat, Tyranitar, Ampharos, Umbreon & Espeon, Lugia, and the 3 legendary dogs are incredibly well designed.
