"Pokémon Go made me believe in miracles; a mind-blowing occurrence."
#PokemonGO: Bulbasaur is my all-time favourite Pokémon. Not only is he my favourite, he is a huge part of my life. I have a tons of memorabilia, I draw him, and he is a must for any Pokémon game I play.Since I began playing Go, the only thing I have ever wanted was a shiny Bulbasaur.Fast forward a year in to my Pokémon Go career. I have the WORST luck with shiny Pokémon. Even playing an average of one hour every day for a year, I have only encountered two shiny Pokémon; a Kabuto and a Swablu. Two days ago I met someone who also played. We compared Pokémon and what does he have? A shiny Ivysaur. I did everything in my power to convince him to trade it to me and we finally struck a deal. Let me say that it took some real-life assets to make this deal.We begin the process of the trade. I see him go to add his Ivysaur to the trade. What happens? “You don’t have enough Stardust”. Come to find out it’ll take 1 million stardust to trade a shiny not in your Pokédex. We could of course exchange gifts for 30 days to raise our friend level, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever see this person again within 100 metres.Devastated, I accept that I may never have my shiny Bulbasaur.I wake up the next day and jump into Go. A Bulbasaur is waiting to be caught. Not a shiny, but it gives me an idea to watch for the day, as Bulbasaur rarely appears in my Go.2 hours later I check again. Another Bulbasaur. I enter the encounter….. SHINY!!!The odds of this is astronomical. I’m both confused and a little wierded out this chain of events happened. All in all, though, I got my treasure. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/3pg6uwc
