"The Pokémon franchise desperately needs a stadium-like title for the switch."

After finishing Shining Pearl and noticing the inconsistencies in preparing for competitive play the past few generations, I think it’s time GameFreak developed a new stadium title for the switch. We’ll now have games that don’t have the national Pokédex for “balance reasons” which I think is okay for those titles. It’s whatever. Now, a dedicated title for competitive training and preparation sounds like something that would work. Not quite as intensive to develop and the team could focus on how to balance out every Pokémon. Do it like battle tiers for certain mons or special entrance requirements for certain challenges. Earn BP on it for the held items, bottle caps, and rare candies. Use those bottle caps and rare candies in game as well.It might be a pipe dream but I am burned out already from the grinding on Shining Pearl. Grinding on sword and shield wasn’t as bad with the exp candies and the push to get everyone into competitive pay. Sword and shield really streamlined things. Let’s Go even streamlined it. A dedicated competitive title would alleviate the stress of building on competitive in every game AND eliminate the inconsistencies.Edit: Read the room GameFreak. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3n8xsWv
