"Legends not too accessible for Deaf players"
Hello, I’m one of Deaf (who is visually impaired too) players who have been enjoying PLA for last few days, it’s really fun and I continue to play the game for a while to pass time! However, the biggest complaint I have right now regarding the game is that it’s not too friendly for disabled people so I need to vent about it. I plan on writing a letter to them about my concerns. How? I’ll explain below.I recently learned they we have an audio cue for when a shiny Pokémon is nearby even if you don’t see it. Why do we not have a visual cue for it on screen at all? And another issue is that when you see a shiny on screen, it have a very small star sparkle that only lasted for like half second so it’s extremely easy to miss too. It would be very helpful to just leave a permanent sparkling animation on shiny Pokémon (especially for colorblind players) so you can notice it on screen easily, and it’ll go away once caught (or when it run away/get killed).I also do not enjoy reading the texts for many dialogues as they’re very small even when I’m playing it on a large TV (I always play it docked, never handheld) as it strain my eyes due to being visually impaired too. They need to make it larger, so that it’s actually readable to more people. That’s all for this morning, and thank you so much for reading my complaint I have regarding PLA, and I hope to see it get improved one day, so that our experience would be better! via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/ln4uKXHpB
