"players of pokemon on game boy color, I need to know if I have been deceived for like 20 years"
I’ll cut to the chase. back in the day, when it was the originals and we all used the cartridges, I was passed a note. the source of the note was trustworthy - he was a good friend (I perceived) and he wrote it down VERY specifically the instructions on how to do it.when you pick your starter, pick squirtle. name it “Mew” - with a capital M and the rest in lowercase. I thought that was odd because you’d think it would have been “MEW”, but I chalked that up to being too obvious for the evolution to work.the next steps were to simply leave, play the game, and instead of a wartortle, you will actually get a mew.I can’t remember if it works explicitly, but if it did, it at least took me several tries. (I assume it didn’t work, because like, it’s a freaking mew, you would think you would notice it, you know).but if I just DID IT WRONG, is there or could there be any validity to this? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/sh6FgIT
