"Leon Is a Good Champion."

Since everyone here seems to hate the fact that Leon will probably win the league in the anime, let me explain why I disagree.“He’s a new character, how can they just make him unbeatable?”You act as if any character in the anime has good background/development. All of the character development in the anime is minimal. Leon is not a main character, but a recurring one. He is introduced in the first few episodes of Journeys and plays a role throughout both seasons.The Galar region has more focus on battling than any other region does. It makes perfect sense for the champion of the most battle-focused region to be the strongest in the world.And finally, no other champion in the anime has gotten more time on-screen than Leon has. Saying that another champion deserves it over him makes 0 sense.“But how can we JUST meet him and him be unbeatable?”Are you forgetting we had a character introduced IN THE LEAGUE for a season out of nowhere, with no storyline or background info and he had TWO legendaries just to beat Ash? Later going on to win the league?“He’s a bad champion in the games, so I wish he wasn’t so strong in the anime.”Again, he gets more time on-screen, plays a larger role in the plot, and is more fleshed out than any other champion in the games. You found his battle easy? Okay, the last three generations have been cakewalks, this is nothing new.This is ignoring the fact that the anime is only loosely based on the games anyways.TL:DR - You guys hate Leon because you hate Sword/Shield.
