"What do you think about the newer Pokémon designs?"

As the title suggests, what are the parameters you look forward to when they are announcing new Pokémon?Or the overall bunch of a certain gen Pokémon, may be their art style, their design inspirations, regional forms, are they still good as they were before, etc.Personal Opinion:I really love these new designs, as they were reducing the number of pokémon, most of the new pokémon are precisely added and I personally think it is important for the total number of pokémon. Most of the new bunch are excellent from Gen 7, as their designs were more risky than Gen 6 (Gen 6 obviously has awesome designs, but Gen 7 has really weird mons that no-one didn't really expect and they executed them well.)Gen 8 is really underrated in this aspect, man I personally think this gen had the best bunch in recent times. Every design is well executed and pretty much flawless, these pokémon felt like they were designed very carefully and precisely. (Except for the starters, those are the only underwhelming ones, same goes with Gen 7, even then the grass type starters are well done though in both generations.)Regional forms might be the best thing they have done to this franchise in recent times. Breathing new life into old gen Pokémon is much needed for the older more forgotten mons. And personally Gen 8 had nailed these designs and added evolutions to those variants. Gen 7 obviously has excellent designs but we can understand they were just figuring out what could be possible for these new designs. As they figured out in Gen 8, they nailed it.(For this post, we will consider mons from Gen 6 as new pokémon designs)Please forgive my English, as it is not my first language, I am still learning it. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/ObgeiBP
