"If they make a Legends Kyurem, it should take place in the far future with heavy sci-fi aesthetics."
Legends Arceus is very unique, it's a breath of fresh air. That's why it bugs me that people think you can simply slap a different region's name onto it and suddenly, BOOM, new game. (Hisui is so far in the past that it's a different region entirely, so what would changing the region do anyways beyond some light aesthetic changes and references?)But I do think the mechanics were interesting and deserve to be used in another game. But they DON'T need to stick to a consistent formula where they swap out a different region every game and call it a day- that's lazy and not nearly as good a premise as people think. While not inherently related to Kyurem, I think the next Legends game should have futuristic aesthetics to set itself apart and have a vastly different progression system beyond just a few closed off wild-areas and a pokedex to fill. Heck, maybe even reintroduce gyms and towns? Just keep the 'styles', maybe add more among other gameplay mechanics to set it apart from the main series, keep the catching mechanics...Don't make it formulaic. Make it experimental. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/dBr98vm
