"A use for the evolutionary stones you'll never use"

#PokemonGO: This idea came about because I just got my 4th Metal Coat, but have only come across a few Scyther and Onix in my PoGo career. I think it'd be a good idea to be able to use a stone on a pokestop (only after you've used a lure on it) to be able to have a good chance of encountering relevant Pokemon (Scyther and Onix for a metal coat, a tiny chance of spawning Scizor or Steelix(?)), depending on the type of stone used.
