"One of LA's largest parks just reopened. How do we turn it into a nest?"

#PokemonGO: Hey travelers! I know this is lengthy so I have a tl;dr at the bottom. So, one of the largest parks in Los Angeles just reopened today, after being closed for 3 years. (Los Angeles State Historic Park) I went to the grand opening today and it was really nice. There were even a few Pokestops already in the park, which is pretty awesome. The problem is, it only spawned about 5 Pokemon over the course of an hour. After I got home, I checked and it's labeled as a park on OpenStreetMaps, because this is an older park, it was just closed for renovations. But spawning just 5 different Pokemon in one hour tells me that this definitely isn't a nest, or even a good place to play Pokemon for that matter. If I had to guess this would be because it was closed for so long and it saw no activity, so there were no spawn points added to the park. But this park is absolutely perfect for a nest. It is huge (32 acres) but it is all contained and there's a walking path around the whole park, with open fields of grass in the middle. We have a lot of nests in LA that are in parks that are not good nests. You have to walk up and down a lot of stairs and wait on traffic and everything. This park is bound to be LA's best nest. So, how do we fix it? Will it fix itself? By more people playing in the park, will more Pokemon eventually spawn? Or should I edit something in OpenStreetMaps? Maybe if I simply edited the boundaries of the park, it would kind of reset? Or possibly suggest to Niantic that they add more Pokestops and a gym to the park? I don't know how any of this works, so I'm merely looking for suggestions.tl;dr- A massive park just reopened in LA and it would be perfect for a nest. So, the grand opening of the park was actually yesterday for those of you who were interested. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2pUHL4c
