"Is there a way to confirm that a shiny really is the Pokemon ID's last 8-bit the same as your user ID?"

#PokemonGO: It'd be quite a natural way to determine whether a Pokemon is shiny if it is 1 out of 256 (for Duskull) in the app / server: if the last 8-bit of that Pokemon ID is the same as your user ID's last 8-bit. Is there a way to show that it is true, by getting a user ID and comparing it with a shiny Pokemon? There used to be a way to see all the data transferred to the app but I think it had the risk of getting banned if any 3rd party program is used. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2yfazte
