#PokemonGO: The tiny town of Stockdale, Ohio was never a paradise for Pokémon Go. Three gyms and a handful more stops. But we all did well because of Kurt from We Fix Screens.Kurt owns the local franchise of “We Fix Screens” which is located in Stockdale’s only strip mall. His store sits underneath the clock tower of the strip mall and is one of the three gyms in town.Kurt is a Pokémon fanatic. He has 12 level 40 Pokémon go accounts, 4 on each team. His store has become an oasis for those who play. He takes the gym with one team, then assists people who come in to take it for their own team for the XP and coins, only taking it down when someone else comes in. When raids happen there, he provides as much backup as necessary. We all have our legendaries because of him. There are maybe 15 dedicated players in town and Kurt makes it work.Nearest ex raid eligible gym is a half hour away. Kurt sometimes gets up to 5 or 6 invites for each and is the reason we all have MewTwos.Kurt cannot play pokemon go anymore.Kurt was reported. All 12 accounts. No one has come forward to admit it. His accounts have all been banned. He’s begun anew but in his rebuilding phase is not much help.As one of the local few players I’m sure my interest without him will fizzle out.For what it’s worth - Stockdale Ohio once had a thriving Pokémon go scene.
