"How Mewtwo’s new CP affects rural players"

#PokemonGO: I wanted to share my story of how Mewtwo’s new CP has affected rural players. I live in a small town of 8,000 people. We have a small group of 8-10 active raiders, with 3-5 people usually being available at any one time. At level 40, I usually lead the groups. We had a hard time getting the 7 players needed for the Regi’s, as such we only did a few. We were very excited for the return of the birds, because they could be done with 3-5 players. This past week is the most T5 raids I’ve ever done. We were cranking through 5-7 legendaries a day, which was as many Regi’s as we would do in a week.We all spent tens of thousands of stardust powering up our Mewtwo counters, so we could do it in groups of 3-5. We were very excited...then we saw the CP changed. We failed with a group of 5 against Ice Beam, then again as group of 7 against Focus Blast. Now today, nobody will come unless there’s 7 or more players, which isn’t happening because no one will come. What a loss this has been to our small raiding group. We were really looking forward to doing lots of Mewtwo raids.TL;DR Mewtwo’s new CP has put it out of reach of rural communities. We are sad. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2OGxLV7
