"Idea: Use the Term “Masuda Method” to Refer to Cut Content in Pokemon Games"

So, as a lot of us here know, the Masuda Method refers to breeding Pokémon from different countries to increase the odds of getting a Shiny. After hearing the response to the outrage by Masuda himself, it’s obvious that there’s no plans to restore the cut Pokemon.Remember in ORAS how the Battle Frontier was cut? Masuda was Game Producer there, and told us that they weren’t adding it because of people not having long attention spans because of smartphones (get the feeling this was definitely a lie).So I propose that we call cut content the “Masuda Method” as a way of calling out the way that content seems to disappear after a generation or two. A lot of it seems to do with Masuda’s involvement as far as I can tell. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2X7wv0R
