"Vaporeon stats compared to all Electric and Grass Pokemon"
#PokemonGO: With all the talk about Vaporeon I wanted to look at the numbers so I collected the data and made a list. So I used thesilphroad to get CP and HP. I put all Pokémon at lvl 20 with their CP and HP maxed. I used the 1.25/0.8 modifier on their attacks dps that I got from pokemongodb. The first dps value is the fast attack the second is the charge attack.Vaporeon : CP: 1609 HP: 164 DPS 20.0 / 21.3 (vs Grass/Water DPS: 16 / 17.04)Jolteon: CP: 1222 HP: 86 DPS: 8.3 / 18.5 (vs. Water DPS: 10.4 / 23.1)Flareon:CP: 1510 HP: 86 DPS: 9.5 / 17.2 (vs Water DPS: 7.6 / 13.8)All grass and electric pokemon, their dps is the best dps vs water and adjusted.Venusaur CP: 1474 HP: 104 DPS: 19.3 / 19.5Raichu CP: 1158 HP: 80 DPS: 12.5 / 20.9Vileplume CP: 1424 HP: 98 DPS: 12.9 / 19.5Parasect CP: 998 HP: 80 DPS: 13.3 / 16.6 (Fast attack is BUG)Victreebel CP: 1445 HP: 104 DPS: 12.9 / 20.1Magneton CP: 1074 HP: 68 DPS: 12.5 / 20.0Electrode CP: 940 HP: 80 DPS: 12.5 / 23.1Exeggutor CP: 1688 HP: 122 DPS: 14.3 / 17.9 (Both attacks are Psychic)Tangela CP: 994 HP:86 DPS: 19.3 / 26.8Electabuzz CP: 1210 HP: 86 DPS: 10.4 / 20.9So it looks like that with only the first generation available at the moment Vaporeon doesn't have a direct counter. As long as the pvp side of the game is not that important it might not be a problem with the lack of a counter. But it's a bit tiresome that it's just Vaporeons everywhere you look. I am personally okay with some Pokémon being better than others but I do wish the gap between best and worse was smaller. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2aktTtA
