"Actual Impact of IVs on Battle Performance"

#PokemonGO: Turns out more in depth IV discussion is still allowed, so I thought I'd share some data on it. I created a spreadsheet to compare the impact of IVs on pokemon's overall combat effectiveness. This was measured as attack x defense x stamina. The logic behind this was that if you can deal twice as much damage, you can defeat twice as many pokemon. Similarly, if you can sustain twice as much damage by doubling HP or defense, you'll live twice as long and therefore deal twice as much damage. Since there seems to be a minimum damage somewhere in the formula, the real impact for attack and defense IVs will be slightly less, but I don't know if it will make a significant difference in most cases.I used two major groups. The first group consists of all fully evolved pokemon, and the second group consists of the top 12 pokemon this dual ranking. Attempting to get perfect IVs gives low reward/effort compared to settling for high IVs.
