"Bug: Beware of accidentally wasting stardust via "leapfrogging" when powering up your Pokemon"
#PokemonGO: I had my Pokemon sorted by #. I had 2 of the same Pokemon -- let's call them A and B. A was 1270CP; B was 1280CP. However, A had higher IVs, so I wanted to power up A.Whilst powering up A, I didn't play close attention to the game, and was just hitting the power up button over and over. However, at the end of the power-ups, I realized that both A and B were powered up -- I had accidentally used stardust to power up both A and B instead of only A alone. What happened was that after powering up A, A's CP overtook B's CP, and hence also overtook B in the sorted order. Because whatever Pokemon you are looking at seems to be fixed by its absolute position, I was looking at Pokemon B after powering up A. This happened over and over, with each Pokemon swapping positions, or leapfrogging each other, without me realizing it.TL;DR: If you have 2 of the same Pokemon with similar CP, and are looking to power up the lower CP Pokemon, pay close attention that you are powering up the same Pokemon each time.(Bug filed with niantic) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2bQCWOU
