"New "Nearby" feature might test more than just tracking."

#PokemonGO: I was thinking why would the Devs choose to open one of the new tracking features to the public. All joke aside they must have a team of testers to test new features out. Plus just opening it to one city isnt going to stress test it in any way. So i thought it was mainly to save face... the community had the pitchforks out and Dev's drop this to soothe tempers.Until..Someone just posted they just got access to the new Nearby feature. not by app update but just by traveling to the testing area. This changes my thought process altogether. Now i think this is meant for something bigger. Maybe they are testing how they can limit the boundaries of special feature for Events. Because they updated server side and wasn't just a onetime update to devices in the area gets me hype. Am i over thinking this?? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2bHNaVs
