#PokemonGO: Double click the home button and quit all apps. Next hold down the sleep/wake button until the "slide to power off" screen comes up. Then hold down the home button until that screen disappears. This clears your phone's RAM and reduces the time it takes to reload the app. That way you can use the quit-the-app method to skip the evolution animations.
