"Can we just appreciate what Shigeru Ohmori is doing with Sun and Moon?"

As many of you may know Junichi Masuda is not directing Sun and Moon, instead it is being directed by Shigeru Ohmori. Ohmori previously directed Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but as it was a remake he did not have the freedom to make a game completely of his own.I like that Ohmori is not afraid to really go out there with the story. Sun and Moon removed gyms entirely replacing them with story bosses, and the story is shaping up to be very different as well, with a structure more similar to Colosseum or XD than the rest of the main series games. Even in OR/AS there was a new story about parallel universes and world-threatening meteors just casually added to the end. The rivals and enemy teams were also much expanded on, giving them more personality and more of a role in the story. Throughout the trailers I kept thinking that Sun and Moon just has a "personality" to it that the previous games don't have.What do you think? is Shigeru Ohmori doing the series justice? via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2ceJDNY
