#PokemonGO: Hello fellow travelers.I am no fan of big words, so i will make this as short and simple as possible: There are way too many theories on how exactly eggs work with nobody being able to prove any of them so far. Which is mostly due to the factor that we lack the data. So, lets collect that data. I have put together a formular which tries to be as simplifistic as possible while still collecting enough data to draw reasonable conclusions. Here it is. Please finish reading this post before submitting data.Can i submit old data?No, please dont do that. Getting unadultered data in every way possible is the key here.Why do i ask for your reddit name?Firstly, do distinguish between different subsets of data. This is mostly important to research the "Eggs are drawn from biomes" theory. Also it makes spotting trolls easier as well as giving the option to ask questions to a specific contributor if necessary. Your name wont be displayed while the data collecting is in process. If you dont want to be credited once the process is finished, for whatever reason, just send me a PM.Why do i ask for the egg you received when i allready know the hatched Pokemon?The vast majority of people will always hatch 2 and 10km eggs first. This is to make sure the data is not falsified by playstyles as well as giving more possibilities towards data evaluation. For example, one theory i have is that the server decides first which Pokemon will be in an egg before assigning the group, not the other way around. But that just as a side note.Will I make the data public?Yes, of course I do. What comes from the community belongs to the community. Right after i finish this post I will create a spreadsheet which displays the current data with altered names.
