"Pokemon Go Plus: A great time/effort saver once you reach higher levels."
#PokemonGO: So it seems that the Pokemon Go Plus watch is pretty universally trashed on, but for me personally, it has been great for what I use it for. And I suspect the higher your level, the more likely you are to appreciate this device and the time and effort it can potentially save you.I'm level 30, and by this point I have more candies than I know what to do with for 90% of the mon. But I like to get out and walk, to get distance on my eggs, get me some exercise, and maybe find a rare mon. I don't want to stop for every weedle or pidgey, but I feel guilty if I don't try to capture it. So I'd stop, waste 5 pokeballs on a pidgey that kept breaking out, and maybe get it, maybe not. But either way, I've stopped walking for a few minutes. At this point in playing, Pokemon Go is no longer a sprint but a marathon, and not having to have a two minute battle with common Pokemon is great. Now, with the Plus, I just keep trekking. It vibrates, I look at my phone, and verify it isn't a rare mon. Assuming it isn't, I press the button. If I get it, great! One button press, no effort, and I haven't stopped walking. If it flees, well at least I tried to catch it so I won't feel bad and will get a little XP for the flee. Plus this is a great way for me to get through all the normal pokeballs I get from the stops. So while I agree Pokemon Go Plus isn't perfect or even close to, for me at least, I've found a niche gameplay use for it that really makes it worthwhile. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dcjXzp
