"PSA: Best incubator strategy to maximize 10km egg hatches"

#PokemonGO: I wrote an incubator strategy simulator to find the best strategy for maximizing 10km egg hatches for a limited-resource player. I found all combinations of permutations of blue (consumable) and orange (∞) incubator egg prioritization strategies, and excluded strategies where a type of egg (2km, 5km, or 10km) would never be incubated. For example, a valid strategy would be "Blue: 10; Orange: 2, 5, 10", and an invalid strategy would be "Blue: 10, 5; Orange: 5, 10", because for the latter, 2km eggs would never be incubated. The simulation can be run multiple times with different results due to random eggs, but across multiple simulation runs, four strategies out of 180 outperformed the rest:Blue: 10,5; Orange (∞): 2,5Blue: 10,5; Orange (∞): 2,5,10Blue: 10,5,2; Orange (∞): 2,5Blue: 10,5,2; Orange (∞): 2,5,10These four strategies hatched the most 10km eggs and the most eggs of any type (10km, 5km, 2km) in general for the vast majority of simulation runs. Although I created the simulation and can see the results, I can only hypothesize that these strategies outperformed the rest because they balance the tactics of (1) hatching more 2km eggs to open up a spot for a potential 10km egg, (2) hatching eggs in parallel, and (3) prioritizing 10km eggs.
