"The Ultimate Pokemon Tracker - Faster and more skill-based than 3 Steps!"

#PokemonGO: /u/evanthebouncy posted something truly awesome to /r/PokemonGO the other day...So of course it got almost no attention at all :p(I did not make this, this was made by /u/evanthebouncy, but if you note his post he is not going to continue working on it, it is free to us to use or improve upon)All you have to do is draw red and green circles. Each of these circles is an infallible rule that reduces the area the pokemon can possibly be. If the pokemon is in sightings, draw green circles. If it disappears, draw a red circle. It's simple and fun, and if you get good at it you can develop special techniques for tracking as fast as possible! This tool is a game-changer. I haven't been this excited to play in weeks. I've been running out of the house to track every cool pokemon (Dratini, Bulba, Gastly) and catching almost every single one! This tool is amazing! Nothing to download, you just open it in a browser!Example OneIn the first image I have drawn two green circles. The bulba was showing when I drew each one. The Bulbasaur MUST be in the area where they overlap! Then in this next image, as I walk to the right side of the overlapped area, the bulba disappears. This red circle I create cancels out most of the overlapped green area.See that tiny triangle on the left? That's where Bulba is!Example TwoIn this first image I get lucky, right after drawing my green circle to start, the Bulba disappears so I draw a red circle almost in the same spot. This leaves a sliver of green circle on the left.In this image I headed a bit south and the bulba stayed disappeared. This is good. I draw another red circle. This eliminates half of the green sliver. I proceed toward the remainder. In this final image the bulba has popped up on sightings again so I drop a 4th circle, green. This shows me the portion of the sliver that the bulba is at, which I am about to arrive at :)BONUS:If there are multiples of the same species, some other tracking methods fail in an attempt to fabricate a circle. This method can track multiples of the same species simultaneously without leading you astray! When a pokemon disappears and you draw a red circle, that doesn't just mean "the pokemon is not in this red circle" ... it actually means "the pokemon is on the exact edge of this red circle. The level of deduction accomplished is ridiculous, and easy to interpret intuitively.PS - Again, this was created by /u/evanthebouncy - not mePPS - The location in those pics was chosen at random to demonstrate... it's not actual. There are probably irl obstructions preventing walking in those directions :) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2c0ZIWq
