"Late 20s level in major city, what's currently left to play for?"

#PokemonGO: I live downtown in a major northeast city with many colleges (Boston) where gyms are turned over every few hours so gym battling becomes just training.Except for eggs hatching (and even that has decreased excitement with increased 2km eggs with common spawns) at Level 27 the current game doesnt offer all too much to play for. Im hoping they will add some different things to purchase in the shop (perhaps binoculars to see spawns further away) or at least fix and add the SF beta tracking so we can see rares more easily.The game really has slowed down to a crawl, particularly without 3rd party trackers to at least look for rares.
