"More "error" crashes at gyms lately?"

#PokemonGO: Has anyone else been getting more "error" messages while trying to bring down high-level gyms? I was right in the gym's circle and not moving around. It happens right as the first battle of a new set is about to begin, and I didn't see any "action" going on on top of the gym that would suggest the same team was there trying to re-level up as I was trying to knock it down.Am I the only one? It's frustrating after you've spent 20 or so minutes knocking the levels down and then it suddenly doesn't let you finish.
