#PokemonGO: This morning I earned my level-2 Pikachu medal after many months of playing, but was disheartened when I realized it offered no bonuses for catching Pikachu because they're so darn hard to capture! This inspired me to think about the various bonuses other medals could offer in the future. I've listed some of my ideas below, but I know other people on TSR may have better ideas. Hopefully someone from Niantic could stumble upon some of these ideas for potential integration in the game!Note: Numbers have not been thoroughly thought through; they're simply a general idea what could be.Scientist. +5/10/15% chance to receive an extra candy when evolving.Backpacker. Decreases PokeStop refresh timer by 10/20/30 seconds.Jogger. Increases distance accumulated by a multiplier of 5/10/15%. (Though at the very best this may simply offset the poor GPS distance-traveled tracking.)Breeder. Increases chance of hatching a rarer Pokemon by 5/10/15%.Battle Girl. Increases EXP and/or Prestige depleted from attacking gyms by 5/10/15%.... That's just to start conversation. I'd love to hear your ideas!
