"[PSA] New 0.41.2 animation time for evolutions is approx. 15 seconds"

#PokemonGO: Got the new update and tested an evolution just now. This is a rough estimate only, but should be helpful for those who are saving up for a lucky egg spree. The evolution animation by itself (Pokémon rises up in a ball of light and lands back down) took about 15 seconds on my phone (OnePlus 3).When I include time spent to click evolve, hit OK after it finishes and click on another Pokémon, the entire sequence came to about 20 seconds total i.e. 3 complete evolutions per minute. For me this gives time for ~90 evolutions per lucky egg, which is about the same I managed by restarting in the past. Happy not to need that anymore!TL;DR: Save up 90-100 evolutions for your next lucky egg, OR keep on with the restart trick if you were already squeezing in more than this before the update. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2ebpVVN
