"[Question] How does "clumping" work when it comes to prestige?"

#PokemonGO: I've heard that right after a battle ends, the prestige increase/decrease is applied.So if I'm battling against a Lv. 3 gym with Arcanine-Vaporeon-Snorlax and 6000 prestige, right after I defeat the Arcanine the prestige will go down to 5500, right after I defeat the Vaporeon the prestige will go down to 5000, and right after I defeat the Snorlax the prestige will go down to 3000.What happens when "clumping" happens?Let's say there are 2 of us, A and B. We both kill Arcanine and Vaporeon separately, but then we clump at Snorlax.
