"[Rant] Am I the only programmer that is annoyed that the 2 upcoming features are considered an update?"

#PokemonGO: Depending on which language the game is written in, the trophy feature is about 10-20 lines of code at best.The gym training increase is about the same amount of lines of code.Overall, couple of hours of work.I am annoyed that Niantic rather waste all their time fighting scanners instead of making a damn working tracking system (I am sorry but walking 1.35km in worst case scenario, in 15 minutes if the Pokemon just spawned, to a Pokemon that is less than 200m away from you is not a working tracker to me).Imagine you wanting to reach a specific address using a GPS navigational system. Now image you putting in the address and the GPS takes you first to the opposite direction, then back to the same location you just came from and then to the correct location (I skipped a section where it would take you to 2 more wrong directions).Would you be using that GPS navigational system or would you search other working navigational system that will show you the correct place/ direction to go to? To me this just looks like Niantic is saying: "Yeah, our tracking is complete shit but instead of improving our tracking to nullify the need in scanners, we will work on blocking the scanners, which in return they will work on getting access again and we will continue trying to block them instead of improving our game."/rant over.
