"Small update to the Nest Atlas: Removed stale Nest locations by default!"
#PokemonGO: Hey travelers,Just wanted to share a quick update to the Nest Atlas that went out tonight alongside Migration #5.We aren't ready to launch the elevated permissions system just yet (which will allow Silph Road Guides to consolidate and remove erroneous nests, among other things) but we did want to roll out a small tweak that will help remove a lot of clutter!Effective immediately, all nests that haven't been verified for several migrations (many weeks) are now designated 'out-of-date' and are hidden from the map by default. These stale nest reports made up much of the more useless information in the Atlas, and removing them leaves only the Nest locations which have been observed recently. As with every migration, Nests have changed species! So all nests are marked 'unverified' (as we don't know their species yet) until a traveler gets eyes on the new species and reports back.Hopefully you enjoy the more de-cluttered default state of the Atlas! Can't wait til the Atlas is fully translated for use in more non-English-speaking countries and the Guide system rolls out to help us keep it useful, up-to-date, and uncluttered. (There are some really cool things rolling out with the Guide system - but more on that soon!)- Executive Dronpes -p.s. Just gotta say, it's pretty amazing watching tons of nest verifications pour in throughout the night, even though this migration rolled out at a late hour in the Western Hemisphere and Europe. Keep up the great work, travelers! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2enVvwz
