"Theory on Razz Berries: the second meaning of 'easier to catch'."
#PokemonGO: The text for Razz Berries says the following: 'Feed this to a Pokemon and it will be easier to catch on your next throw'.I thought that this may refer to the chance of hitting the pokemon with the ball and not to the chance of it staying in there. Here's the outcome of my very small sample size. 'Jump' is the sort of jump where the ring around the pokemon does not disappear, 'attack' is the sort of attack where the ring disappears. I watched the pokemon for the time given while holding the ball to be able to see the ring. Below is the number of attacks/jumps per session. I watched them x minutes without, then x minutes with Razz Berry.Paras, each 2 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump1411Attack1311Total2722Drowzee, each 3 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump1513Attack188Total3321Zubat, each 3 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump1114Attack1416Total2530I also took notes for a Shelldar but can't find them anymore. If I recall correctly, it had more attacks but significantly less jumps while on Razz Berry.I always forget to take notes of encounters, maybe some of you could share some data as well? I know this doesn't look too promising with the Zubat results, but I would appreciate discussion. :-)edit:Raticate, each 3 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump1120Attack2417Total3537Depending on the gps-drift from my flat I'll add some more. While the Drowzee data looked promising, I'm sceptical right now.editedit: Added the sum of jump and attack.Hypno, each 3 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump2013Attack2024Total4037Drowzee, each 3 minwithoutwith Razz BerryJump1721Attack1417Total3138Theory most likely busted. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2eAQfIl
