"To lose a Lapras...due to multiple eggs hatching"

#PokemonGO: He showed up on my Sightings list. I spent 10 minutes walking back and forth, up and down, in circles, even calling out his name, "here Lapras, I have a nice ripe Razz Berry for you". Then it happened, he appeared before my eyes, a big beautiful Lapras, ripe for the picking. I stopped in my tracks and went to tap my iPhone screen hard enough to crack it...then it hapened. Four 5Km eggs I started incubating at the same time began to systematically hatch. One...after...the...other. When the slow-hatching eggs were finished monopolizing my game, the Lapras had vanished.EDIT: Someone told me that tapping the screen with two fingers bypasses the forced animation. Kinda true...I just learned from the forums that if you "pinch" the screen after getting the "Oh?" image, it bypasses the hatching animation. It probably would not have helped my situation with multiple eggs all hatching together, but lesson learned, I will forever "pinch away" the hatching animation!I keep telling myself that darn Lapras probably had horrible IV, CP, and the worse moveset... via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dJ9Juz
