"What do you use for battle outside of top tier?"

#PokemonGO: Most everyone has their high powered Vaporeon, Snorlax, Arcanine, etc. But what's something you use that's outside of the norm? Something low tiered or generally not talked about?For example, I have a MC/EQ Sandslash that I use to attack gyms with. He can take hits like a boss and dish out tons of damage it seems for something with such low CP. I've taken down Arcanine with over 600 CP on him before.I'm just wondering if there's others using their favorites along with the powerhouses.
