"I currently have 1 Snorlax in 2 gyms. How?"

#PokemonGO: There's a level ten gym across the street from my neighborhood that my Snorlax has been on top of for about two weeks now. Last night, I noticed that same Snorlax in my Pokemon storage without a gym icon next to its name, with full health. I figured I'd revived it and forgotten, but it turns out, my Snorlax is STILL on top of the gym. Looked at the gym on my girlfriend's phone/account. She sees it too. I was even able to power the Snorlax up and put it in ANOTHER GYM. I have no idea how this could happen but it's pretty neat. It isn't just a UI glitch, either. It's actually there.Also, it's worth noting that I could only collect from the Snorlax after placing it in another gym. So I won't be getting twice the coins.Anybody out there have this happen to them?Edit: My Snorlax has since been kicked out of the second gym and cannot collect on the other gym that it's been in for a couple weeks. I'm a bit annoyed that I can no longer collect on my main source of coins as of lately.Edit #2: I'm going to battle my Snorlax with my Snorlax in a couple hours and take a screenshot. I'm looking forward to this.Edit #3: So, I tried battling the gym and got an error message three times in a row. Came back thirty minutes later. Same thing.
