"Why are evolved Pokemon so worthless?"

#PokemonGO: If I see a Pidgey and Pidgeotto at the same time, I always go for the Pidgey, because it's an easy capture for the same reward. I imagine most players are the same (assuming you already have the full evolution chain of the 'mon in question). Isn't this a bit weird and out of step with other Pokemon games? I think something should be done to make catching evolved forms of Pokemon more appealing than they are currently. Perhaps slightly more candies, stardust, XP or some combination thereof, for catching an evolved Pokemon.Similarly, to farm XP we repeatedly evolve Pidgey but don't evolve them up to Pidgeot, for the same reason. I think this should also be changed, so that evolving to a 3rd tier species gives more XP than evolving to a 2nd tier species. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2fb4vZ8
